The first uses a cardboard box and turns it into a strong, self-locking container. Start by folding the two small side flaps and one long flap down inside the box. Next comes the key step: fold the two short vertical sides inward to create a V shape on each side. Then fold the remaining long top flap over and tuck it inside. The folded sides create gentle pressure that locks the flap in place, forming a sturdy, triangular top that stays closed even when shaken. The second idea shows how to stop a soft plastic packet from tipping over. Before opening the bag, fold the two bottom corners inward toward the centre to create a flat base and secure them with a small piece of tape. Turn the bag upright, then cut the top open and lightly fold the edges to strengthen the rim. The packet now has a wide, flat bottom and becomes a stable, free-standing bowl that’s easier to use.
