Hold up those lovely fingernails and let them shine a message of beauty to the world! Today, I’d like to offer a handy tip. When we think about grooming our canine companion, bathing and brushing often come to mind, but routine nail trimming is just as important. Elongated nails apply pressure on the nail bed that can result in soreness in your friend’s paws and legs, making it harder for them to walk or play comfortably. Overgrown nails are more likely to crack, split, or snag on surfaces like carpets, leading to painful breaks or tears that may require veterinary care. Long nails can also lead to changes in posture and affect how they stand and walk, which can put unnecessary strain on their joints, causing potential long-term mobility issues or arthritis. Additionally, like humans, dog-individuals can develop ingrown nails if they’re not routinely trimmed. This occurs when the nails grow into their paw pads, causing pain and potential infection.

Laughing is healthy for your mind and heart. Enjoy our joke of the day called, “Opportunist.”

“That doesn’t seem fair to tempt us like that.”

The lead trainer at the gym, Alex, patted the bowl, smiled, and explained:

“Job security.”
