Thoughtful quote of the day: “Genius is talent set on fire by courage.” – Reverend Henry van Dyke Jr. American Author, Diplomat, and Presbyterian Clergyman (BrainyQuote)
Previously, in Part 1 of 2 of Erica Tait’s near-death experience, Erica described falling 60 feet [18 meters] off a cliff, lying critically injured and alone for seven hours, and slipping out of her body as rescuers searched on the wrong side of the river. In that state, she saw her life with complete clarity. That life review sparked a deep desire to change, to repair, and to live in alignment with the mission she felt she had come here to fulfill.
And then came the experience of the white Light that people call God or Consciousness or Source. And it was almost like information was being downloaded into my cells. And that was where I learned a lot about our inherent oneness, about how we are actually just this one thing. And in this dimension that we call Earth, there’s an illusion of separation, but ultimately, it’s all just energy that’s vibrating at different frequencies, and our senses take it in and perceive matter and perceive space and time, but ultimately, it’s not true. And we’re actually all one.
This recognition of oneness created a massive explosion in her heart. In that recognition that we’re all one being, why would we ever cause harm? If everyone is ourself, then why would you ever hurt another being? And so that [a] was big recognition. And also around ultimately we’re here to remember that we’re that one thing and how we can live in this, like, in these apparent separate selves with a deep remembrance and recognition of our inherent oneness, and that’s through love and consciousness.
Erica and the Light made a joint decision for her to return to her body. And then, I remember taking a deep breath in and opening my eyes and looking up at the trees, and there was a firefighter who was off duty but listening in on the phone call, and he had a gut feeling. He knew where I was, and he did the hike. And in that moment that I opened my eyes and took that inhale, I saw his little head pop over the cliff and he yelled down, and he saved my life. Erica was rescued by army boats and spent a month in the hospital, followed by a month in physical rehabilitation. She was bedridden and in a wheelchair for six months.
I just had this purified soul, like my soul, my spirit, my consciousness was just highly purified, and now I’m coming back into a quite wounded body and ego system. And so there had to be like a reconciliation between the two. And that 8 months of just like a lot of solitude and inward focus allowed me to move through that healing process and awakening process. The experience completely transformed Erica’s life and purpose.
Honestly, [I’ve] never been the same since, like awakening to the spiritual dimension of reality. And also just like how mission-driven, how purpose-driven I’ve become because of this, like wanting to actually help people to remember, because this is like we all, we just, we come into this planet with like amnesia, and it’s part of a game. It’s like it’s just a necessary part of the game. But to awaken, to remember why we’re actually here, what we actually are, that’s been my sole focus ever since, for myself to continue to remember and to continue to awaken to deeper and deeper remembrances of like what reality is and to help the collective do the same.
