Previously in Parts 1 through 3 of this multipart series on Dr. Paula Langhoff’s near-death experiences, Paula recalled being six years old when a dark presence convinced her to eat at least half a bottle of aspirin. After everything went pitch black, she said she was drawn through a tunnel of stars into what she later described as Heaven. After returning to her body the next morning, Paula told no one what she had seen. Years later, she was bitten by a tick and contracted Lyme disease. For 12 years, she says, she lived without a diagnosis while her body deteriorated. By 2003, after 10 days at the Mayo Clinic, doctors sent her home, saying they did not know how to help her and could not treat her.

Back home, exhausted and unsure how to keep going, Paula felt her bed shake for three nights in a row. And so, on the third night that this happens, I do fall asleep, and then, at some point in the middle of the night, I wake up, and I’m looking through the window at the foot of our bed, and all of a sudden, this orb of Light comes in through the window. I’ve never seen an orb. I didn’t know what an orb was. It’s this ball of Light. It’s bluish white, just a round ball, and it floats from the foot of the bed over to the side of the bed. And as it floats, it’s opening up. And it has the presence of GOD on it. So, there’s complete peace. There’s no fear at all. And this angel steps out of this orb, and as he’s doing that, the orb sort of is his wings. It turns into wings, and then the wings disappear, and I can just see the angel standing there. And he’s a little over 8 feet [2.44 meters] because his head kind of goes through the ceiling a little bit. And in my mind or in my spirit, I’m going, “Who are you?” He turns to me, and he goes, “My name is not important to you, but for your purposes, you can use the name Victor.”

And so I turned my head because I hear the sound of bird wings flapping. But these are huge, and they are going vavoomp, vavoomp, and I turn, and there’s this enormous eagle-sized or bigger white dove hovering over me. And I’m like, wow. I mean, it’s really, like, right here. Just like there’s this huge dove. He’s alighting upon me, and I instantly know it’s the Holy Spirit. GOD just makes Himself known. His feathers are like — you can see that they’re soft, but they’re like diamonds. It’s just glistening, and it’s beautiful, and He’s vibrant, and there’s a glow around Him, and His eyes look like rubies. So, all of a sudden, His beak takes out this silver cord from my gut, and I’m going, “I don’t know what that is.” But he’s releasing my spirit man from my body, and there’s a silver cord that holds us to our body in the spirit. So, here, he’s pulling me out. I’m released from my body, and all of a sudden, I am up over my body. And I can see it way down there on the bed, and I’m like, “Oh, that old thing, my carcass, my shell, so glad to be out of that.” It’s absolute peace, absolute rest. I’m not thinking about how sick I felt right before that. Doesn’t matter, none of it matters.

As her spirit rose, Paula was shown the second heaven — the spiritual realm above the Earth — and witnessed the warfare happening there on her behalf. On the way up from when I first died and left my body, I saw the second heaven. And that’s the realm, like this Earth in the spirit and the cosmos, and that’s the domain of the enemy. And that’s the second heaven, the skies above us and the cosmos. And so, that was, like, in a sepia tone, which is a muddy brown. And I’m seeing, in the center, a scene of angels that are white, and they have the Ephesians armor on. And they’re battling with swords against these demonic ogre beings. Kind of reminds me of the giants that they describe, they’re super tall, double rows of teeth, and all that. And they’re fighting them with swords, and I’d see the ogres fall and die and evaporate. And I’d see an angel stumble, but then stand up again. And now I understand it, that that’s our words help them fight in the supernatural realm. We speak life to ourselves, or we speak death over ourselves. And I’m shown a long line of angels standing like soldiers [at] attention, [in] rows. It’s almost like a mirror inside a mirror inside a mirror. You just see an endless image. That’s how many angels were standing there waiting to do battle for me. Like, wow, that’s a lot of angels, and I’m a sinner at this point, right? I have not completely given my life over to the Lord.

Paula then entered the eyes of the dove and found herself in the Heavenly realm once more — this time as an adult, being shown one Heavenly area after another: a room with what she understood to be the Book of Life, a prayer room filled with voices from every tongue, indigenous group, nation, language, and dialect on Earth, then a vision of the End Times timeline, and a Zoom-like room showing her ministry work 12 years before it began.

In Part 5, Paula is taken into what she calls the Glory realm — where the Father’s Love is so overwhelming that she begs not to leave. All I felt was peace, joy, glory. It was just, “Don’t ever let me leave this space.” I never wanted to go. I just want to stay there forever and just praise GOD. I’m liquid love wrapped. I’m in the Father’s loving arms.
