School buses play an important role in sending many students to school. The Oakland Unified School District (OUSD) in California, USA, is replacing its entire fleet of conventional diesel buses with a new fleet of electric school buses. The clean, quiet electric buses can transport 1,300 students to school. Furthermore, Oakland’s first-of-its-kind electric bus fleet in the nation is equipped with vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology. The VX4 is a piloted aircraft designed to carry four passengers, with a range of 100 miles (approximately 160 kilometers) and a cruise speed of 150 miles (about 240 kilometers) The US-based FlyTahoe company collaborated with Swedish technology company Candela to launch the world’s first flying electric ferry boat. The new electric ferry, developed using hydrofoil technology, is designed to reduce travel time with a service capable of ferrying 30 passengers across Lake Tahoe in 30 minutes.Whatrr recently launched the world’s first biodegradable water bottle.
