Our Intentions, Sincerity, and Quality of Our Heart Are What Allow Us to Experience Wondrous Inner World More Fully

In December 2025, by affinity, I came to know a female Buddhist practitioner who lives in Puli. She’s not a fellow initiate, but she has practiced spiritually for more than 30 years, always taking “accepting the guidance of the Bodhisattvas and engaging in charitable acts to help others” as the direction of her life. When first spending time with her, I felt she was devoted and humble with a gentle and pure heart. But I never expected such wondrous interactions would unfold between us.

One day, she said that she sensed the energy field of Supreme Master Ching Hai. So, I lightly shared with her stories about Master, the practice of Quan Yin meditation, and how this path had helped me find stability and a sense of reliance in life. I gave her Master’s sample booklet, Buddha Chanting audio, doctrinal books, the Most Powerful Daily Prayer, as well as a solar-powered player, just hoping she might draw strength from them if she had the affinity to.

And right when we were talking, her expression suddenly became solemn. She saw Master’s manifested body appearing to compassionately bestow Blessings. She said Master was wearing a white hat and dressed in a yellow robe. I showed her Master’s photo on my phone right away and asked if it was like that one. She said, “Yes, it’s this Master.” With palms joined, she respectfully asked, “Master, do You have any instructions?” Master smilingly responded, “Nothing in particular. I’m just here to see you. I’m always around.”

When I explained that Master is the reincarnation of Maitreya Buddha, she immediately saw Maitreya Buddha manifest before her eyes. When I mentioned that Master is Lord Jesus Christ returning, she instantly saw the scene of Lord Jesus being crucified on the Cross. Lord Jesus and Maitreya Buddha were always there and stayed with us at the place where we were conversing. Upon hearing her account of all that, I couldn’t help bursting into tears. A Power of Love went through my heart like a beam of Light. Deep down inside, I felt profoundly cared for and comforted.

She returned home, and early the next morning when she went to the Buddhist altar room to prostrate to the Buddha, she once again saw Master manifest in the monastic form. Filled with reverence, she prostrated herself and was deeply moved in her heart. From that point on, she totally trusts whatever I share about Master or Quan Yin meditation. Open-hearted Ruo-Chen, What an amazing experience! There are many very pure-hearted people in this world who often have more profound inner visions of Master than some Quan Yin practitioners do. It goes to show that our intentions, sincerity, and the quality of our heart are what allow us to experience the wondrous inner world more fully. If we just meditate but have little faith and are not dedicated and compassionate, we will not get very far. That is why Lord Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven.” The Buddhist practitioner you met has much to teach us all about how to be devoted to God.
