In this multipart series on Thayne Martin’s near-death experiences, American motivational speaker Thayne shares how he died twice, first as a child abused by a pedophile ring and later by drowning in his own pool. He says he met GOD and learned in Heaven how to heal himself from within. Thayne was an atheist when he died. His childhood was marked by years of sexual abuse, which he says left him with severe mental health conditions that continued into adulthood. His first near-death experience happened during this abuse. He was taken from his home to an off-site location and drugged so he would be more cooperative. One time they gave him too much, and his heart stopped. To revive him, his abusers put him in an ice bath. Thayne remembers the world going dark, then a Light, a tunnel feeling, and a sense of floating outside his body.
And the thing that I remember the most was that I met somebody there. And the somebody that was there was my grandfather, who had passed on a couple of years prior. And I remember being in the corner of the room, looking down at the ugly scene as these crazy, ugly people were trying to revive me in that ice bath. Thayne also saw another little boy, abused during the same time frame, being taken out of the room. He doesn’t know what happened to that boy. He says his grandfather held him throughout the entire experience.
And when I reached the point where the violence had kind of ended, my grandfather basically explained that I couldn’t stay and that I needed to go back. His grandfather was not the only one there. Thayne recalls more souls than he could count, although he didn’t know who they were. As a child, he hadn’t understood that he had died. But I have a specific memory of my grandfather pushing me back into my body. The abuse continued from age 8 until about age 14, when he grew older and the abusers could no longer control him. As an adult, he spent about 15 years in therapy with psychiatrists and a psychologist, and he was told he would never heal. He ended up over-medicated, with seven pill boxes holding 49 compartments of pills each week.
In Part 2, Thayne recounts how a newly prescribed medication led to another life-threatening ordeal. The most bizarre thing was that I literally woke up at the bottom of my pool, and I was lying horizontal, and then, all of a sudden, my eyes just opened, and I was at the bottom of the pool. Join us tomorrow for Part 2 of this multipart series on Thayne Martin’s near-death experiences. (Not the End NDE YouTube channel)
