But I’m fine. Oh. Joking. Never mind. Please pick one. Can you take it over there? Take it to where he is. That’s all good. Tell her to come. No, take away the chair. The chair. I’m sorry, we planned to meet him twice. They just informed me that you’re free. Take some chairs, put them around. What is it inside the chest? Walkie-talkie? I just wish your effort, your humanitarian effort. Sounds good. How can you do that? (You just dial the phone.) Just like that? (Yes.) A real number? (It’s a real number.) Oh, I can’t believe it. So fast! A real number even. (A real number even.) Hah, I never had it so simple. (You can call anytime.) Hey, [that was] fast! You had to wait, huh? (I had to wait. And You’re beautiful.) No, for you! (Thank You.) I knew you were coming. (Yes.) I have a friend who does makeup. (Oh, fantastic! Fantastic. Thank You.) Want to sit here? Want to sit near me? (I want to sit near You. Yes.) Take the chair. (Excuse me.)

Oh, this is my United Nations Ambassador. (Yes. Thank you very much.) (...Her husband brought...) What is that? And where are they? (I don’t know. It’s there, and another friend of mine, an American initiate.) Tell them all to come. (Can I tell them to come?) Please. Anyone, the foreigners. (OK.) Because they don’t have much chance to see me. Tell them to come. (OK.) Yes, please. (Thank You, Master.) Please, if you see any, you just take them here. (Well, I…) I didn’t know he has such a beautiful wife. (We keep that a secret and don’t tell anybody.) He’s a good guy. (Thank You. Thank you.) Very good inside. Yes. You should be proud of him. And I’m sure you are. (I am.) I’m proud of him, too. I’m proud that he has such a good friend. Very, suits me, suits my ideal of a human. (That’s great.) They suit me. We are very compatible. So, please take some, everyone.

Oh, these are the people who keep peeping [at] me all the time. I didn’t know who it was. (This is my friend. She got initiated a couple of months ago.) Yes. And I heard that there are three United Nations people… Oh, I don’t know, you have to go get them. Oh, the cushions, whom do they belong to? And how come? (She moved.) (I moved one week ago, and I had to come back here.) Oh yeah. Oh, you didn’t know. So, what you do now in Vancouver? (I went to meet with my brother, to stay with my brother.) You’re fed up with America now? (Yeah, with New York, actually.) Then you can move to California and live in our Center, if you want to find a shelter. (Oh, really? I have a great shelter there. I have a great shelter in Vancouver actually.) That’s fine. Good, good, good. (It’s beautiful.) If you’re fed up with New York, you can go to Costa Rica. (I want to go.) We have Centers all over the world. (Yes.) (Later.) Yeah, Costa Rica, you can stay. (I can’t now because I work at the United Nations.) We didn’t say… (Master wants me to be there,) Yeah. (but when I retire – Costa Rica.)

She wanted to go back to Chile, actually, before. (But You said, no.) No. You stay there. You have work to do. Everywhere is alright. (Now I work in a department that is called Humanitarian Affairs.) She was just a secretary somewhere else. And after I said I need you in there, and then she just got promoted. (I got promoted. I got promoted twice,) Twice. (since Master said that.) And in there you cannot get promoted just like that. (Not easily.) Not, not... (No, very difficult.) Not… 20 years later. (Yes, seriously.) And she’s been there only for a few years. (Three and a half.) Yeah. (Only three and a half years, yes.) Normally people get promoted after 20 years or something. (Yes. It’s very difficult, very difficult.) But they did right to choose you. Talented, humanitarian, and spiritual. (Tri-lingual also.) Tri-lingual also. Yes. Where can they find such a good person? But you look better than when I saw you last. (Cut my hair?) Is it because of the hair or something? You do. (Meditation also.) Yeah. (I’ve been meditating a lot.) You do. (Yes.) Yes, she looks so bright. So bright! (Thank You.) Yeah, yeah. And happy.

(Steve is coming tonight.) He does? He cannot bear it. (He couldn’t bear it.) I said I will… (No.) I mean he’s coming to… (He’s coming tonight…) OK, let him come. (…with another friend from California. She’s also an initiate from San Francisco.) …kind of tan or dark or something. I don’t know. So different. I’m surprised. (And younger.) You know her, huh? (Yes, yes.) Remember how she looked? (We were initiated together.) Yeah, yeah. (The same place.) (We were initiated at the same time and sitting together.) Ah. (So, we’re “twins.”) No wonder, no wonder. So, what I mean is that I want to find a witness for what I have said. (Oh, because she knows me from before.) Yeah, yeah, yeah. Otherwise, nobody would believe that she changed so much. (Yes.) What happened? You’ve got a new boyfriend or something? (No, the only thing that I can tell you is that I had an operation during the month of February, so I had to be in my house. I started meditating four and a half hours every day. Work in the office is very rewarding. It’s very exciting. And so, I’m always full of energy.) Yes? (I keep saying I’m never tired. I mean my body might be tired, but my spirit) Yeah, yeah. (is always very active.) Love to work and all that. Understand, understand.

And you were so tired of the United Nations, you wanted to go back to Chile then, (Yes.) at that time. And so, I said to her, “No, no.” (Last year, when You came in March of last year.) Yeah, yeah. I said to her, “No, no, stay there. Stay there for a while.” (Yes. I said, “I like Chile so much; I want to return.”) Yeah. It was beautiful. (And then Master said, “No, no, no. For the moment, I need you in the United Nations.” And then I said, “I listen, and I obey.” And a month later, I got this promotion.) And then later, another promotion. (A year later, a year later.) Closer and closer to the humanitarian. (Now, I am at the Humanitarian Affairs.) Commissioner of High… (Interrelated with the Commissioner for Refugees.) Yeah, yeah. You can’t get any closer, huh? (No, I can’t get any closer.) …And they have big ego, big achievement in their life, and they’re used to being somebody. It’s not easy just to stay there, just like that, just because Master says so. (It would be more training.) Yeah, yeah.

And she was born in Chile. She’s the daughter of a Chilean Ambassador in United States, right? Or in where? (Well, in a certain time in the United Nations and then Ambassador to Ecuador.) Yeah. And so… (I lived in the [United] States when I was young.) Yeah. (That’s how you learned your three languages.) (Well, actually that’s how I learned English. French, I learned in Chile because I went to a French school when I returned. My parents were both diplomats.) Yeah, both were diplomats. (And they thought that I had to learn French, which just was the language of the diplomats. So I grew up with the diplomats.) Oh dear! Oh dear, Miss! (But now it has served me very well.) Yeah. (Because at the United Nations, if you know French, that definitely puts you in another category.) Everywhere. Yes. The “omnipotent” ability. (More than Spanish.) “Omnipresent.” Yes, yes. French is very useful. (Like a status.) Yeah, yeah. (At the UN if you know French, you’re definitely in another [category].) OK, get me a job. Tell them I also know French to some extent. I can polish more, if I get a job, I promise (OK.) to go to Alliance française and polish my French for one more month.

He looks good. (Thirty-two years.) When did you marry (anniversary)? (Yes. This week, last Thursday.) (I was very, very young when I married her.) Oh, yeah? (I’m much younger than she is.) (I stole him out of the cradle.) Through the Grace of God. “Till death us do part.” Until death. (I see it that way.) I’m very happy to hear anytime of a good marriage. Don’t you? (Yes. Me too, me too. I’m very happy to hear that.) Because it’s very precious. Very precious. Once you have to struggle outside and keep the inside, that is very… it’s kind of soul mate, huh? (We grow together.) Not easy. Yes, yes. Beautiful. Good. I thought these things only existed in the old days, in ancient times. (There are some people in United States who are like that. Really.) Can’t believe it! Can’t believe it. (It’s not an easy job.) No, it’s not. (You have other jobs that are important.) So, I envy the people who can keep it, long life friendship. (Yes.) Very, very, very rare. You will be happier that way; you’ll be successful. (I think so.) You’re successful when your house is stable.

But I’m also out of that “business”. (They do, don’t they? It’s true.) I can’t maintain all the noisy moments. (At most to keep the carpet clean.) I don’t even keep a cat(-person) [from] going because we never could keep a cat(-person) [from] going. I had a cat(-person) before. My husband brought it for me. (Thank You.) (And then what?) You know what? I couldn’t bear to deal with him because he was always crying and meowing and then jumped all over my clothes and my sofa. And I said to my husband, “Why did we have to get that cat(-person)?” And he said, “Just to have something moving in the house,” because we were only two and no children. He thought it was too quiet. (Thank You.) And so, what happened was the cat(-person) understood our situation, and he often went to the neighbor to play with other cat(-people). And sometimes he didn’t even go home. Now and again, he came back just to meow around and then just to let us know that he was still there. And then, he meowed out again. So I couldn’t even keep a cat(-person) at my house.

…To cross the river, you have to adjust to the river’s flow and the (river) bed. When you walk into a house, you have to adjust to the custom of that house. So, I walked into “America house” and try to see the Americans. Just that the customs (officers) at the airport, they give me a hard time, all the time. They smell something different from us. (Yes, very difficult.) (Did You have a hard time when You left the Bahamas?) No, they didn’t. Because he threw his weight around. He threw his UN executive advisory, or something card out, gave me protection. So, they stamped six months for each. Never did it before. (Coming in?) Yeah! I can stay in America [for] six months. (Six months.) Can you believe it? (Fantastic!) Provided I will stay that long. But I never had so long before. I mean, all the Chinese said, never had so long. (And the one young man, one of the disciples, he was OK with the Taiwanese passport.) Yeah, yeah. Normally he wasn’t OK. And then he also got six months because he’s a new one. All others have five years and rarely had problems anytime. He’s a first timer. Therefore, he had a little bit of trouble.

You see my house? Fantastic. That’s what I don’t need. (But that I could buy one.) No, money we don’t need really. Only when the refugee issues come. (No, I’m just kidding.) Then we can put the money in. Otherwise, now... (You’re going to have time to see the man from) Anytime. (out west on Monday?) Of course, of course. (I’ll bring him out tomorrow night.) Of course, of course. (Maybe we need some chairs. ) For the record, yes. (Yes, we need some more chairs.)
